THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mary Wanjiku alias Mary Wanjiku Kariuki (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land situate in the county of Uasin Gishu, known as Kaptagat/Kaptagat Block 1 (Uasin Gishu)/1152, and whereas the Court at Eldoret in Succession Cause No. 130 of 2021, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to (1) Moses Kaberi Kariuki and (2) Margaret Wairimu Angatia, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the Mary Wanjiku alias Mary Wanjiku Kariuki (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Mary Wanjiku alias Mary Wanjiku Kariuki (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
