THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Josephine Kabura Mwangi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 4.86 hectares or thereabout, known as Kiminini/Kapkoi Sisal Block 1/Wamuini ‘A’/22, situate in the county of Trans Nzoia, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kitale in Succession Cause No. E149 of 2021, has issued letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Asiya Wambui Khamisi, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the Josephine Kabura Mwangi (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed to the Asiya Wambui Khamisi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Josephine Kabura Mwangi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
