THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Waritho Kanthawa (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 5.00 acres or thereabout, registered under title No. Ngandori/Ngovio/1289, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Embu in Succession Cause No. 247 of 2017, has issued letters of administration to Mwaniki Kariuki, and whereas the said Mwaniki Kariuki by transmission in respect to the said parcel of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Mwaniki Kariuki, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Waritho Kanthawa (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
