THE COUNTY GOVERNMENTS ACT

PURSUANT to Standing Order No. 27 (3) of the Busia County Assembly Standing Orders, it is notified for the information of Members of the County Assembly of Busia and the general public that there shall be a special sitting of the County Assembly to be held on Monday, the 15th June, 2026, at 9.00 a.m. at the Busia County Assembly Buildings. The business to be transacted at the special sittings shall be as follows: (a) Debate of the Budget and Appropriation Committee report on the Debt management strategy paper for the Financial Year 2026/2027. (b) Tabling of the Budget and Appropriation Committee report on the Budget Estimates for the Financial Year 2026/2027 and the Medium-Term expenditure Framework. In accordance with Standing Order No. 27 (4) of the Busia County Assembly Standing Orders, the business specified in this notice shall be the only business before the County Assembly during the special sitting.
