INQUIRY ORDER

WHEREAS, I am of the opinion that an inquiry be carried out in Metropolitan National Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Limited (CS/ 2628) to look into: (i) The by-laws; (ii) The financial Status of the Society; (iii) The sustainability and viability of Metropolitan National Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Limited. (iv) And in accordance with Section 58 as read together with Section 73 of the Co-operative Societies Act, Cap.490, Laws of Kenya. Now therefore, I authorize: (1) Habil Olembo, Principal Cooperative Officer of Nairobi Headquarters (2) Silars Okoth Dede, Assistant Director Cooperative Audit of Nairobi Headquarters, to hold an Inquiry within ten (10) days from the date thereof at such place and time as may be expedient and duly notified by them. The attention of all officers and members of the society is directed to the following sections of the Co-operative Societies Act. Section 60(1) Cost of Inquiry Section 60(2) Recovery of Costs of Expenses Section 94 Offences Section 73 Surcharges Dated the 15th June, 2026. DAVID K.
