THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Justo Awuor Nyamori (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land, known as Kisumu/Nyalunya/2258, situate in the district of Kisumu, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s 2992 2992 Court at Kisumu in Succession Cause No. 233 of 2017, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to (1) Samwel Josiah Awuor and (2) Martin Otieno Awuor, and whereas all efforts to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the Land Registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said grant document to (1) Samwel Josiah Awuor and (2) Martin Otieno Awuor, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Justo Awuor Nyamori (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
