THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Ngugi Kaninu alias Peter Ngugi Kaninu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.0 acres or thereabout, known as Loc. 16/Gatura/14, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Thika in Succession Cause No. 235 of 2021, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to Laban Mwangi Ngugi (ID/2011130), of P.O. Box 969, Thika in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue land title deed to the said Laban Mwangi Ngugi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Ngugi Kaninu alias Peter Ngugi Kaninu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
