THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Peter Thuo Rukungu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 1.60 hectares or thereabout, known as Loc. 8/Ndikwe/224, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Murang’a in Succession Cause No. E657 of 2024, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to (1) Hannah Wairimu Thuo (ID/6697435) and (2) Philip Kamande Mburu (ID/7191437), and whereas all efforts to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said grant document to (1) Hannah Wairimu Thuo (ID/6697435) and (2) Philip Kamande Mburu (ID/7191437), and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Peter Thuo Rukungu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
