THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mumbua Wambua (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 9.450 hectares or thereabout, known as Mavoko Town Block 3/3272, situate in Machakos County, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Machakos in Succession Cause No. 461 of 2016, has issued a grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Thomas Mwaniki Wambua, and whereas the said Thomas Mwaniki Wambua, and whereas the land title deed in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 39 and issue land title deed to Thomas Mwaniki Wambua, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Mumbua Wambua (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
