THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Francis James Gathuri (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that parcel of land containing 2.43 hectares or thereabout, registered under title No. Ngandori/Kirigi/3183, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Embu in Succession Cause No. 20 of 2020, has issued grant of letters of administration to Piera Wambeti Njoroge Muchendu, and whereas the said Piera Wambeti Njoroge Muchendu has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said parcel of land registered in the name of Francis James Gathuri (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Piera Wambeti Njoroge Muchendu, and whereas upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Francis James Gathuri (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
