NOTICE is given pursuant to the provisions of section 32 (4) of the Insolvency Act, 2015 and Rule 18 (4) of the Insolvency Regulations, 2016, that the businessman Jonathan Kemboi Cheruiyot of P.O. Box 3924–30200, Kitale, lately residing at Kangemi having for the greater part of the past six months resided at Kangemi (and carried on business at Kitale and Kangemi) within the jurisdiction of the Court, and being unable to pay his debts, has instituted Insolvency Cause No. E5 of 2026 at Nairobi High Court petitioning the Court that a Bankruptcy Order be made in respect of his estate and that he may be adjudged bankrupt and have the court appoint a fit and proper person as trustee of his property in accordance to the provisions of the Insolvency Act, 2015. Any creditor having a claim against Jonathan Kemboi Cheruiyot is advised to inspect the Statement of Affairs filed in the cause and if the creditor intends to oppose the grant of the Bankruptcy Order, the same is invited to state in writing the grounds of his/her opposition and file the same in the cause.
