THE HIGH COURT OF KENYA AT NAIROBI ELECTION PETITION No. 12 OF 2008 THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY AND PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS ACT

WHEREAS it has not been possible after due diligence to effect personal service on the 1st and 2nd Respondents of Election Petition No. 12 of 2008, the publication on this notice is to effect service upon the 1st and 2nd Respondents of the Presentation of the aforesaid Election Petition which was presented and filed in the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi on 14th January, 2008, by Shaban Ali Isaack, relating to the election of Mohammed Hussein Ali, as the member of Parliament for Mandera East Constituency in the Republic of Kenya in the Parliamentary elections that took place on 27th December, 2007. Service of the Election Petition on the 1st and 2nd Respondents by means of publication and/or advertisement of this notice, is pursuant to the provisions of section 20 (1) (c) (iv) of the National Assembly and Presidential Elections Act. The copies of the petition may be obtained by you on application at the office of the Deputy Registrar, High Court of Kenya, Central Registry, Nairobi, or from the offices of Mesgrs.
