APPOINTMENT

PURSUANT to section 33A (I) (c) and 33 (2) (a) of the Capital Markets Act, the Capital Markets Authority has placed Nyaga Stockbrokers Limited under statutory management and appointed- WYCLIFFE SHAMIAH AND THE NAIROBI STOCK EXCHANGE as Statutory Managers. The appointment shall take effect from 5th March, 2008, for a period of six (6) months. The Statutory Manager will exercise the powers conferred on them by the Capital Markets Act and assume the management, control and conduct of the affairs and business of Nyaga Stockbrokers Limited to the exlusion of its Board of Directors.
