WHEREAS Albert Mwithukia Kinyenje (deceased), is registered as proprietor in absolute ownership of that piece of land containing 5.6 hectares or thereabout, known as Lari/Kirenga/116, situate in the district of Kiambu, and whereas the senior resident magistrate's court at Limuru, in succession cause No. 63 of 2006, has issued grant of letters of administration to Paul Mwithukia Ngobito, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier to Albert Mwithukia Kinyenje (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument RL. 19 and RL. 7, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Albert Mwithukia Kinyenje (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect, Dated the 14th March, 2007. GAZETTE' NOTICE NO. 1818 THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT (No. 12 of 1997) APPOINTMENT OF LIQUIDATOR (Liquidation Order)i WHEREAS pursuant to section 61 (1) of the Co-operative Societies Act, I ordered an inquiry into the by-laws, working and financial conditions of Mwalimu Centre Investment Co-operative Society Limited (CS/7985). And whereas I am of the opinion that the said society should be dissolved. Now therefore pursuant to section 61 (1) of the said Act, I cancel 'he registration of the society and order that it be liquidated Any member of the society may within sixty (60) days from the date of this order, appeal to tne Minister against the order. If no such appeal is presented within the time specified, the order shall take effect i ppon the expiry thereof. And further pursuant to section 65 of the said Act, I appoint Michael Obiero Ngolo, District Co-operative Auditor, P.O. Box 860, Kisumu, to be liquidator for a period not exceeding one year and authorize him to take into his custody all the properties of the said society including such books and documents as are deemed necessary for completion of the liquidation.
