PURSUANT to regulation 21 of the Environmental (Impact Assessment and Audit) Regulations, the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has received an environmental impact assessment study report for the implementation of proposed expansion of salt harvesting on L.R. No. 13427, Marereni, Malindi. The proposed project entails construction of brine concentration and salt harvesting ponds. The project is located at Marereni on plot No. L.R. 13427, Malindi. The project anticipates the following impacts and mitigation measures. Possible impacts Mitigation measures 1.
