GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 4539

WHEREAS Hannah Wangui Karanja (deceased), is registered proprietor of that piece of land known as Muguga/Muguga/266, cointaining 2.3 acres or thereabout, situate in the district of Kiambu, and whereas the senior resident magistrate's court at Limuru, in succession cause No. 54 of 2005, has issued a grant of letters of administration to (1) Joseph Kariuki Karanja and (2) Margaret Wambui Ndungu, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier to the said Hannah Wangui Karanja (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration -of the said instrument of RL. 19 and RL. 7, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Hannah Wangui Karanja (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect. THE REGISTERED LAND ACT (Cap. 300, section 33) REGISTRATION OF INSTRUMENT WHEREAS Rael Kirigo Kathurima (deceased), is registered proprietor of that piece of land known as Ntirimiti S.S/887, situate in the district of Meru, and whereas the chief magistrate's court at Meru, in succession cause No. 326 of 2003, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Stanley Kathurima Rimberia, and whereas the said court has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission RL. 19, in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed issued to the said Rael Kirigo Kathurima (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission RL. 19 in the name of Stanley Kathurima Rimberia, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Rael Kirigo Kathurima (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
