PURSUANT to regulation 21 of the Environmental (Impact Assessment and Audit) Regulations, the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has received an environmental impact assessment study report for die/implementation of the proposed Ethacom International Limited. The project is entails manufacture of ethanol and will be located at- L.R. No. 5740/11, Naitiri Sub-location in Bungoma District The project anticipates the following impacts and mitigation measures. Possible Impacts Mitigation Measures •Compliance to the provisions of the EHS management plan to safeguard workers. Prepare and print safety manual for distribution. •EHS manager to police workers with the view to ensure provision of the EHS management are complied with. •Adhere to the provisions of the EHS plan. •Train staff on EHS requirements. 2.
