THE RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT AT KEHANCHA IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF KEMERO NGARIBA PROBATE AND ADMINISTRATION SUCCESSION CAUSE No. 21 OF 2008 LET ALL the parties concerned take notice that a petition for a grant of letters of administration intestate to the estate of the above- named deceased, who died at Kegonga Sub-location, on 10th August, 1972, has been filed in this registry by Zablon Beneti. Ngariba, in his capacity as son of the deceased. And further take notice that objections in the prescribed form to the making of the grant are invited and must be lodged in this registry within thirty (30) days of publication of this notice. And further take notice that if no objection has been lodged in this registry in the prescribed form within thirty (30) days of the date of , publication of this notice, the court may proceed to make the grant as prayed or to make such orders as it thinks fit. No. 8403 THE ADVOCATES (ADMISSION) REGULATIONS (No. 357 of 1997) THE KENYA SCHOOL OF LAW PROFICIENCY LAW EXAMINATION IN EXERCISE of its discretion under the Advocates (Admission) Regulations, 1997, rule 8 (b) (ii) the Council of Legal Education has decided that the Proficiency Law. Examination for admission to the Kenya School of law may be taken up to three (3) attempts. Candidates who have on previous occasions taken and failed either the English Proficiency Test administered by the Kenya National Examinations Council or the Proficiency Law Examination or qualify to sit for Proficiency Examination are invited to apply for the examination on 26th September, 2008, at the Kenya School of Law, Iangata South Road, Karen. Candidates must be given prior authorization to sit the examination before they pay the necessary fees for registration. The examination will be open in two parts: 1.Paper I: 3 hours—General Principles of Law: Covering all areas of Substantive Law, this will test your general understanding and application of Kenyan law. 2.Paper II: 3 hours—Methods and Techniques of Law: Testing methods and techniques of applying the law. The time table for the said examination is as follows: Paper I: 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. Paper II: 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m, Registration and examination fee of KSh. 4.000 per candidate is payable to the Kenya School of Law on or before 19th September, 2008. Candidates must bring and show evidence that thay posses an LLB. along with their National Identification Cards. Candidates will only be admitted to the examination room on proof that they have paid the registration and examination fee to the school account No. 0100131599701, with National Bank of Kenya, Hill Branch located at N.H.I.F.
