WHEREAS (I) Karanja Kinungi and (2) Peter Mwaura, both of P.O. Box 108, Ruiru in the Republic of Kenya, are registered proprietors of that piece of land containing 196.4 hectares or thereabout, known as L.R. No. 1428/3, situate in the east of Thika Municipality in the Thika District, held under certificate of title registered as I.R. 30085/Land whereas the said (1) Karanja Kinungi and (2) Peter Mwaura have executed an instrument of surrender in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, and whereas affidavits have been filled in terms of section 65 (1) (h) of the said Act, declaring that the said certificate of title registered as I.R. 30085/1, is not available for registration, notice is given that after the expiration of fourteen (14) days from the date hereof provided that no valid objection has been received within that period, I, intend to dispense with the production of the said certificate of title and proceed with the registration of the said surrender. No. 15234. situate in Kisumu District, held under a grant registered as I.R. 53147/1, and whereas Savings and Loan Kenya Limited, as chargee: has executed an instrument of transfer in favour of Franciscan Sisters of Saint Joseph (Asumbi) registered trustees, of P.O. Box 669-00402. Kisii, and whereas affidavits have been filled in terms of section 65 (4). (h) of the said Act, declaring that the said grant registered as I.R. 53147/1, is not available for registration, notice is given that after the expiration of fourteen (14) days from the date hereof provided that no valid objection has been received within that period.
