IN EXERCISE of powers conferred by Regulation 20 (4) of the National Assembly and Presidential Elections Act (Presidential and Parliamentary Election Regulations) the Interim Independent Electoral Commission notifies the public that after the nomination of parliamentary and civic candidates on 20th and 21st January, 2011, the persons named in the first column of the schedule were and now stand validly nominated for parliamentary by-elections and the civic by-elections to be held on 16th February, 2011 for Kirinyaga Constituency and 11 civic wards as indicated.
