THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT

(Cap. 490)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Lukenya Ranching and Farming Co-operative Society Limited (CS/961) has achieved its objectives. And pursuant to section 61 (1), I am of the opion that the said Society should be dissolved. Now therefore, I cancel the registration of the society and order that it be liquidated. Any person(s) wishing to contest this order can do so to the Minister within sixty (60) days from the date of this order. And further, pursuant to section 65 of the said Act, I appoint Stanley Ongeti, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Co-operative Development, P.O. Box 40811, Nairobi, to be liquidator for a period not exceeding one year and authorize him to take into his custody all the properties of the said society including such books and documents as are deemed necessary for completion of the liquidation.
