IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 9 (3) (a) of the Alcoholic Drinks Control Act (No. 4 of 2010), the Kilungu District Alcoholic Drinks Regulation Committee publishes the list of applicants for alcoholic drinks licence. Notice is given that the Kilungu District Alcoholic Drinks Committee meeting to consider the application will be held on the 14th July, 2011, at the District Commissioner’s boardroom at 10.00 a.m. Any person who may lodge objections to the application(s) may do so in writing to the Secretary of the District Committee, and the objector shall serve notice of the grounds of the objections on the applicant, personally or by post, at least seven days before the hearing of the application and the onus of proof of such service shall be on the objector.
