IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 9 (3) (a) of the Alcoholic Drinks Control Act (No. 4 of 2010), the District Commissioner Matungulu District notifies the general public that a meeting for hearing of applications of persons /business premises for new/renewal of licenses is stipulated under the act shall be held at the District Commissioner‟s boardroom, Kisukioni, on 12th July, 2011, at 10.00 a.m. Any person may lodge objections to any applications in writing to the secretary of the District Committee ,and the objector shall serve notice of the grounds of the objections on the applicant, personally or by post at least seven days before the hearing of the application and the onus of proof of such service shall be on the objector.
