IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 49 (1) of the Labour Relations Act, No. 14 of the 2007, the Minister for Labour makes the following Order: (a) The Company, Akamba Publc Road Services Limited, to deduct from the wages of each unionisable employee who is not amember of the Kenya Long Distance Truck Drivers and Allied Workers Union herein referred to as the ―union‖ but is covered by the the Collective Bargaining Agreement RCA No. 97 of 2010 signed between the Union and the company a sum equal to two per cent (2%) from each employee‘s basic monthly pay. (b) Deductions to commence within thirty (30) days of receiving the Order. (c) To remit within ten (10) days the sums deducted under item (a) by crossed cheque made payable to the Union, into the Union‘s Account No. 0030–2001–8889 at the K-Rep Bank, Kenyatta Avenue Branch, Nairobi.
