GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 8548

WHEREAS (1) Martina Orinjo Obiero and (2) Hagnes Athieno Obiero, both of P.O. Box 120, Ugunja in the Republic of Kenya, are the registered proprietors of that piece of land known as East Ugenya/Ligala/1430, situate in the district of Siaya, and whereas the senior resident magistrate court through court order case No. 25 of 2010, has ordered that the said piece of land be sub-divided equally, and whereas the executive officer of the said court executed on instrument of transfer in favour of (1) Martina Orinjo Obiero and (2) Hagnes Athieno Obiero, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer and issue a land title deed to the said Martina Orinjo Obiero, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said (1) Martina Orinjo Obiero and (2) Hagnes Athieno Obiero, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
