THE LABOUR RELATIONS ACT

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 49 (1) of the Labour Relations Act, 2007, the Minister for Labour makes the following Order: (a) The Company, Sports Stadia Management Board to— (i) deduct from the wages of each unionisable employee who is not a member of Kenya Union of Entertainment and Music Industry Employees herein referred to as the ―union‖ but is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreements (RCA No. 7 of 2010, signed between the Union and the company a sum equal to three per cent (3%) from each employee‘s monthly gross pay (i.e. basic salary plus house allowance); (ii) Deductions to commence within thirty (30) days of receiving the Order; (iii) to remit within ten (10) days, the sums deducted under Item (a) by crossed cheque made payable to the Union, into the Union‘s Account No. 229–741–204 at the Kenya Commercial Bank, Moi Avenue Branch, P.O.
