CHANGE OF NAME

WHEREAS Jane Nekesa Barasa, of P.O. Box 5507, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, is the registered proprietor lessee of that piece of land known as L.R. No. 2259/200, situate in the city of Nairobi, by virtue of a lease registered as I.R. 49963/1, and whereas the said Jane Nekesa Barasa has lodged an instrument of certificate of change of name of Firestone East Africa (1969) Limited to Sameer Africa Limited, and whereas Sameer Africa Limited has executed an instrument of discharge in favour of Jane Nekesa Barasa, and whereas an affidavit has been filed in terms of section 65 (1) (h) of the said Act declaring that the grant registered as I.R. 49963/1 is not available for registration, notice is given that after the expiration of fourteen (14) THE KENYA GAZETTE 12th August, 2011 days from the date hereof provided that no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said grant and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of certificate of change of name and discharge of charge.
