IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Labour Relations Act (No. 14) of the 2007, the Minister for Labour: (a) Orders Messrs. Eurocraft Agencies Limited to— (i) deduct every month the sums specified in the schedule in respect of trade union agency fees from the wages of his/her employees who are covered by the terms and conditions of the concluded Collective Bargaining Agreement and are not members of Transport and Allied Workers Union (K); (ii) pay within ten (10) days of the date of deduction, the total sums deducted by a crossed cheque made payable to Transport and Allied Workers Union (K) into that Union’s account No. 2830238 at Barclays Bank of Kenya Limited, Mama Ngina Street Branch, Nairobi. (iii) make returns to the Registrar of Trade Unions at P.O. Box 40326–00100, Nairobi, within one (1) month of making all the payments to the Trade Union. SCHEDULE Deduction: The monthly subscription per each employee shall be as follows— Salaries of upto KSh. 5,000 KSh. 100 Salaries of upto KSh. 5,001 to KSh. 10,000 KSh. 120 Salaries of upto KSh. 10,001 to KSh. 15,000 KSh. 150 Salaries of upto KSh. 15,001 to KSh. 20,000 KSh. 200 Salaries of upto KSh. 20,001 to KSh. 25,000 KSh. 300 Salaries of upto KSh. 25,000 and over KSh. 400 Dated the 26th July, 2011.
