THE REGISTERED LAND ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS John Mazuri Yaa, of Kilifi, is registered proprietor of that piece of land known as Mbwaka/Maereni/55, situate in the district of Kilifi, and whereas the resident magistrate‘s court at Mombasa, in civil suit No. 1779 of 1989, and whereas the court vide order dated 4th March, 1995 ordered that (1) Johnson Mazuri Yaa, (2) William Yaa and (3) Nelson Chengo Yaa, be registered as owners of the said piece of land with 1/3 share each, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued in respect of the said pieceof land to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said instrument and issue a new land title deed to (1) John Mazuri Yaa, (2) William Yaa and (3) Nelson Chengo Yaa, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Johnson Mazuri Yaa, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
