THE REGISTRATION OF TITLES ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Naphtali Joseph Mungai Mureithi, of P.O. Box 46179, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, is the registered proprietor of that piece of land known as L.R. No. 14816/3, situate north east of Athi River Township in the Machakos District, held by a certificate of title registered as I.R. 55987/1, and whereas the Co-operative Bank of Kenya Limited, P.O. Box 48231-00100, has lodged an instrument of transfer by chargee in favour of Harrison Mburu Gatumbi, of P.O. Box 3776-00506, Nairobi, and whereas an affidavit has been filed in terms of section 65 (1) (h) of the said Act declaring that the said certificate of title registered as I.R. 55987/1 is not available for registration, notice is given that after the expiration of fourteen (14) days from the date hereof provided that no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said certificate of title and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer by chargee.
