THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS, after the year 2001 irregular excision of portions of the Mau Forest Complex, the Government imposed restrictions on transaction involving all the parcels of land that resulted from the excisions, and whereas by error, some land registrations section that are outside the Mau Forest Complex were also affected by the restriction. Now therefore, the general public are notified that the restrictions that were erroneously placed on the following Land Registration Sections have been lifted so long as such restrictions were placed for the reason only that the land was originally part of Mau Forest Complex. (a) Nakuru/Olenguruone/Amalo Section; (b) Nakuru/Olenguruone/Cheptuech Section; (c) Olenguruone/Chepakundi Section; (d) Olenguruone/Kitangich (Original) Section; and (e) Nakuru/Olenguruone/Ambuske Section.
