GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 228

WHEREAS Johnston Opondo, of P.O. Box 429, Yala in the Republic of Kenya, is registered proprietor of that piece of land known as East Gem/Nyamninia/192, situate in the district of Siaya, and whereas the senior resident magistrate’s court at Siaya has ordered that the said piece of land be transferred to (1) Malaki Ogola Yona and (2) James Martin Opondo, and whereas the executive officer of the court has in pursuance to an order of the said court executed an instrument of transfer of the piece of land in favour of (1) Malaki Ogola Yona and (2) James Martin Opondo, and whereas efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the title deed issued thereof have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer and issue a land title deed to the said (1) Malaki Ogola Yona and (2) James Martin Opondo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Johnston Opondo, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
