REGISTRATION

IN EXERCISE of powers conferred by section 2 (1) (a), 3 (2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, Section 41A of the former Constitution of Kenya and in accordance with the second schedule of the Presidential and Parliamentary Elections Regulations, paragraph 1 and rule 8 of the Local Government Election Rules, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission appoints the following persons to be members of the Language Board and Language Appeals Board, for the purpose of section 34 (c) of the former Constitution for the By-elections to be held on 17th September, 2012. The appointments shall take effect from 30th July, 2012 to 21st August, 2012 before the final date of formal nomination for parliamentary candidates.
