DECLARATION

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 25(1) (a) of the National Museums and Heritage Act, the Minister of State for National Heritage and Culture, in consultation with the National Museums, declares the area specified in the Schedule to be within the meaning of the Act. 28th September, 2012 THE KENYA GAZETTE Any objection to the declaration of the areas as monuments shall be lodged with the Minister within two (2) months from the date of publication of this Notice. SCHEDULE JOMO KENYATTA PUBLIC BEACH All that area of land, known as Jomo Kenyatta Public Beach, within LR. Nos. MN/1/17177 and NM/1/17178 measuring a total of approximately 3.367 Hectares, situated in Mombasa Municipality, Mombasa District, of Mombasa County as shown on Plan No. FR308/134 deposited in Survey of Kenya office, Nairobi. UHURU GARDENS MOMBASA All that area of land, known as Uhuru Gardens Mombasa, measuring approximately 1.051 Hectares within parcel No. Mombasa Island Block XIX/299 along Moi Avenue in Mombasa Municipality, Mombasa District, of Mombasa County on geographic coordinates: 0 3‘39‖ S and 39 39‘58‖ E.
