APPOINTMENT

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 4 (1) (a) of the Universities Act, I, Mwai Kibaki, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces of the Republic of Kenya, appoint— JANE NGIGE (MS.) to be Vice-Chairperson of the Commission for Higher Education, for a period of five (5) years, with effect from 30th July, 2012. The appointment of Amb. Judith Bahemuka (Prof.), as the Vice- Chairperson of the Commission for Higher Education is revoked. Dated the 3rd September, 2012. MWAI KIBAKI, President.
