APPOINTMENT

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred on me by section 11 (9) of the National Gender and Equality Commission Act, 2011, as read with section 9 of the Act, I, Mwai Kibaki, President and Commander- in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, in consultation with the Prime Minister, appoint— WINFRED OSIMBO LICHUMA to be the chairperson of the National Gender and Equality Commission. This Notice shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 23rd November, 2011. Dated the 10th April, 2012. MWAI KIBAKI, President.
