THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS I am of the opinion that the Kiratina Housing Co- operative Society Limited (CS/12145), should be dissolved pursuant to section 61 (1) of the said Act, I cancel the registration of the said society and order that it be liquidated. Any member of the society may within sixty (60) days from the date of this Order appeal to the Cabinet Secretary responsible for Co- THE KENYA GAZETTE 17th January, 2014 86 86 operative against the order, If no such appeal is presented within the time specified, the order shall take effect upon expiry thereof. And further, pursuant to section 65, I appoint Josephine Ngandu, Senior Co-operative Officer, Nakuru County Office, P.O. Box 960– 2010, to be liquidator for a period not exceeding one year and authorize her to take into her custody all properties of the said society including such books and documents as are deemed necessary for completion of the liquidation.
