THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mukuria Nganga (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as Dagoretti/Waithaka/1347, situate in the district of Nairobi, and whereas the High Court at Nairobi in succession cause No. 371 of 2010, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Simon Kamau Mukuria and (2) William Kinyanjui Mukuria, both of P.O. Box 59269–00200, Nairobi, and whereas the court has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission of R.L. 19 in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the application to be registered as proprietor by transmission of R.L. 19 in favour of (1) Simon Kamau Mukuria and (2) William Kinyanjui Mukuria, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Mukuria Nganga, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
