THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS John Gugi Maina (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.0450 hectare or thereabouts, known as Gilgil/Gilgil Block 1/10166, situate in the district of Nakuru, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kiambu in Succession Cause No. 13 of 2017, has issued grant and confirmation letters to (1) Jane Mukuhi Kamau and (2) Luka Monicah Mwihaki Gichamba, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue the land title deeds to (1) Jane Mukuhi Kamau and (2) Luka Monicah Mwihaki Gichamba, and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to the John Gugi Maina (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
