THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Geoffrey Kimotho Gatende (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.273 hectares or thereabout, known as Gaturi/Githimu/2581, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Nyeri in Succession Cause No. 141 of 2007, has directed that the said piece of land be registered in the name of Joy Wangui Gatende, as administrator to the estate of Geoffrey Kimotho Gatende, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land by the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and register the said land to Joy Wangui Gatende (ID/0346069) as administartor, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Geoffrey Kimotho Gatende (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
