THE COUNTY GOVERNMENTS ACT

NOTIFICATION

NOTICE is given to all Members of the County Assembly of Elgeyo/Marakwet pursuant to Standing Order No. 30 (1) of the County Assembly of Elgeyo/Marakwet Standing Orders, on the request of the Leader of the Majority Party, that a special sitting of the County Assembly shall be held in the Assembly Chamber, County Assembly of Elgeyo/Marakwet premises, situate at Iten Town, on Tuesday, the 30th January, 2024, at 10.00 a.m and Wednesday, the 31st January, 2024, at 10.00 a.m. In accordance with Standing Order 30 (4), the business to be transacted at the special sittings shall be; (a) Consideration of the 1st Supplementary Budget Estimates for the Financial Year 2023/2024; (b) Consideration of Supplementary Appropriation Bill, 2024; (c) Notification of the receipt of nomination of persons to the County Climate Fund Steering and Planning Committees.
