THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Shantilal Vaghji Kerai, of P.O. Box 18509–00500, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that Maisonette No. 4, erected on that piece of land known as L.R. No. 1/331, situate in the City of Nairobi in the Nairobi Area, by virtue of a lease, registered in Volume N64, Folio 246/1, File 20616, and whereas the land register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed, and whereas all efforts made to locate the said land register have failed, and whereas the proprietor has indemnified the Government of the Republic of Kenya against all claims that may be made after reconstruction of the register, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, the land register shall be reconstructed under provisions of section 33 (5), provided that no objection has been received within that period.
