THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Shiraz Gulamali Zavery and (2) Sonja Kloetzli Zavery, both of P.O. Box 1255–80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, as joint proprietors, are registered as proprietors in freehold of all that piece of land containing 0.1369 hectare or thereabouts, known as plot No. 3109/I/MN, situate in the Mombasa Municipality in Mombasa District, registered as CR. 15911, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the register in respect of thereof is lost/destroyed, and whereas the owner has executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file as provided under the provision of section 33 (3) of the Act, provided that no objection has been received within that period.
