THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Damaris Kakuvi Kilisya (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 5.72 hectares or thereabout, known as Yatta/Ilika/154, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kitui in Succession Cause No. E273 of 2021, has issued letters of administration to (1) Clay Mwilu Kilisya, (2) Charles Katumo Kithisya and (3) Ngui Sammy, and whereas the said land title deed issued in earlier to the said Damaris Kakuvi Kilisya (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Damaris Kakuvi Kilisya (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
