CONSTRUCTION OF MAKAMINI DAM (PHASE 1) PROJECT INQUIRY IN PURSUANCE of sections 112 and 162 (2) of the Land Act, 2012, Part VIII and further to Kenya Gazette No. 3660 of 2023, the National Land Commission on behalf of Coast Water Works Development Agency (CWWDA) gives notice of inquiry for hearing of claims to compensation for interested parties in the land required for the construction of Makamini Dam (Phase 1) Project shall be held on the date and place shown below: 12th April, 2024 THE KENYA GAZETTE Inquiry Plot No. Registered Owner (s) Area Acq. (Ha.) Sub-chief's Office Makamini Sub-location on the 13th May to 16th May, 2024 from 10.00 a.m. Kwale/South Samburu/127 South Samburu Group Ranch 404.526 Every person interested in the affected land is required to deliver to the National Land Commission on or before the day of the inquiry a written claim to compensation, a copy of identify card (ID), Personal Identification No. (PIN), land ownership documents and bank account details. The Commission offices are in Ardhi House, 3rd Floor, Room 305, 1st Ngong Avenue, Nairobi and at the County Co-ordinator’s Office in Kwale County. Dated the 25th March, 2024.
