THE VALUATION FOR RATING ACT

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 17 (4) of the Valuation for Rating Act, Cap. 266, notice is given for the information of the general public that, following the hearing and determination of all objections lodged against the Nyeri Municipality Private and Public Draft Valuation Rolls for 2019, the Chairman of the Nyeri Municipality Valuation Court (2024) has duly signed the certificate endorsing the amendments effected on the said rolls. Notice is further given that, in accordance with section 19 (a) of the Valuation for Rating Act, any appeal against a decision made by the Nyeri Municipality Valuation Court (2024), may be brought before the Environment and Land Court (Nyeri) by an objector who may be aggrieved by the decision made by the Nyeri Municipality Valuation Court (2024), within thirty (30) days from the date of this notice.
