THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Herman Mudome Olwari alias Herman Agufa (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.47 hectare or thereabouts, known as South Maragoli/Buyonga/198, situate in the district of Vihiga, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court in Succession Cause No. E139 of 2022, has issued letters of administration to David Kisha Agufa, and whereas the said David Kisha Agufa has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of David Kisha Agufa, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Herman Mudome Olwari alias Herman Agufa (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
