THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Wanjira Kiritu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 5.4 acres or thereabout, known as Magutu/Gaikuyu/59, situate in the district of Nyeri, and whereas the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Karatina in Succession Cause No. E53 of 2023, has issued letters of administration to Wambura Muriithi, as the administrator and beneficiaries are (1) Wambura Muriithi and (2) Mary Wanjira Kibanya, and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece is lost and cannot be traced, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of transfer by transmission documents L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 in favor of the said Wambura Muriithi, as the administrator and (1) Wambura Muriithi and (2) Mary Wanjira Kibanya, as beneficiaries, and upon such registration, the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Wanjira Kiritu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
