THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Wanjohi Kariuki Wanjohi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 2.14 hectares or thereabout, known as Githi/Muthambi/384, situate in the district of Nyeri, and whereas in the Senior Magistrate’s Court at Mukurweini in Succession Cause No. E71 of 2022, has issued letters of administration to Kariuki Wanjohi as the administrators and the beneficiaries are (1) Kariuki Wanjohi, (2) Eunice Wanjira and (3) Wanjiku Wanjohi Kariuki, and whereas the said title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land is lost/cannot be traced, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed, and proceed with the registration of transfer by transmission documents L.R.A. 39 and L.R. A. 42 in favour of the said Kariuki Wanjohi as the administrator and the beneficiaries are (1) Kariuki Wanjohi, (2) Eunice Wanjira and (3) Wanjiku Wanjohi Kariuki, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Wanjohi Kariuki Wanjohi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
