THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Harun Mwangi Karira alias Mwangi Karira Mbathi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 13.7 acres or thereabout, known as Lower Muhito/Kariara/133, situate in Nyeri District, and whereas the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Mukurweini in Succession Cause No. E43 of 2022, has issued letters of administration to Wangari Mwangi Karira, as administrator and the beneficiaries being (1) Wangari Mwangi Karira and (2) Cicilia Wangeci Maina, and whereas the land title deed in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of transfer by transmission documents L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 in favour of Wangari Mwangi Karira, as administrator and (1) Wangari Mwangi Karira and (2) Cicilia Wangeci Maina as the beneficiaries, and upon such registration the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Harun Mwangi Karira alias Mwangi Karira Mbathi (deceased) shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
